Heritage Days Sites

Heritage Open Day sites within the Maldens and Coombe area which were open last year are listed below.

Whilst the weekend has now come and gone we are keeping the information on the website as a reminder of the heritage you have around you and as a guide in advance of next year's Heritage Days, etc.  We have also left 'booking' details in case you wish to make any separate enquiries through the year. However, we don't wish to mislead you that, by our providing the contact details, you will receive a response. Some of the sites do open at other times whereas some are solely open on Heritage Weekends. However in the spirit of Heritage here are the sites:

Coombe Conduit Lord Chancellor Walk, Coombe Lane West, Coombe, Surrey, KT2 7HE

Guided tours of a Tudor conduit house, part of a system built to supply water to Hampton Court Palace. This is a special opening for Heritage Open Days - the Conduit is normally opened on the second Sunday in the month from April to September. Visitor numbers to the site are not limited. However, the number of people inside the Conduit building is limited. Suitable for accompanied children only. Event not suitable for children unable to walk unaided.
