Lloyd Award for History 2014
Malcolm and Gwenda Lloyd were founder members of the Society but both have, sadly, passed away in the brief time of the Society's existence and growth. The Society considered that , to honour their memory, an award should be presented, annually, for a history essay submitted by a local school pupil. This then is the Lloyd Award for History.
The Winner of the 2014 Lloyd Award is Trigg Sharp who was presented with the award by Committee members Robin and Maureen on 24th September 2014
