New Malden Station (19th August 1968) - (with many thanks to Ian Jewell)
Member and rail enthusiast Ian Jewell spotted a number of photos about to be discarded and rescued them. Quite a find and recalling the days, not so long ago, when the station had porter's trolleys and barrow and, on the down platform, there was a waiting room and hence the minimalistic presence of seating for passengers awaiting their train. Look at the adverts, they too take you back to times gone by. (Thanks again Ian).
